In fact, the 250cc bike is likely to share the engine with the Austria’s sibling. It is likely to be based on the thoroughly updated version of the Pulsar NS200.

Italian two-wheeler maker, Benelli will launch the globally popular Leoncino scrambler in the country in 2019. In the international markets, the Scrambler is available in two variants – Trail and road-based standard version. It is expected that India will receive the road-based model. The Leoncino is powered by a 499.6cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with fuel injection. Paired to a 6-speed gearbox, this powertrain produces 49.6bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 45Nm of torque at 5,000rpm.

The company has officially announced that the fully-faired motorcycle will arrive in our market in 2020. The motorcycle will receive India-specific changes to curb pricing. It will receive a slightly different fairing, re-styled fuel tank, larger pillion seat and repositioned footpeg mounts. The switchgear and rear view mirrors will also be revised.
The motorcycle will directly challenge the Yamaha R15 V3.0. Suzuki will launch the naked version of the Gixxer SF 250 in the country in 2020. The naked bike will share design bits and features with the SF250 including a fully digital instrument cluster. The newly designed LED headlamp, stylish alloy wheels, a muscular fuel tank, wider tyres, an engine bash plate and engine shroud. Exhaust and seats will be sourced from the fully bike.
Powering the motorcycle is a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that also powers the Gixxer SF 250. Featuring Suzuki’s oil cooling system, the new 249cc engine pushes out 26.1bhp of power and 22.6Nm of torque. The concept had several high-end features like an HD action camera, Smart Bio-Key and dual-channel ABS; however, the production model will miss out on some of the high-end features.
